Position: Welding Engineer   
Job Location: Abu Dhabi

• B.SC or equivalent degree in Engineering in Material/Metallurgy Engineering from an accredited university.
• Must have IIW (International Institute of Welding)/EWF (European Federation for Welding), International Welding Technologist (IWT)/ Welding Engineer (IWE) certification.
• Expert in welding and NDT Technology. Must have at least ten (10) years of experience in similar position for major oil/gas PROJECTs including five (5) years in CONTRACTOR organization.
• Good Command of written and spoken English.

The Welding Engineer shall be responsible for:

• Developing PROJECT welding specification and ensure the application of correct standards and accurate interpretation of contractual and PROJECT requirements.
• Identifying all PROJECT welding requirements, Preparing and qualifying welding procedures specification, and design welding inspection quality programs.
• Providing innovative support with respect to the development and implementation of new technology.
• Implementing and maintaining welding program policies, standards, procedure and guidelines.
• Ensuring welding compatibility with design requirements and the application of correct welding parameters
