Job Overview: 
Responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction in the management of contracts across the organization-for a specific category of Spend. Ensure that all contracts are properly negotiated, drafted, executed, and administered, while also overseeing a team of contract professionals. The Contracts Lead plays a crucial role in mitigating risks and maximizing value for the organization through sound contract management practices.

Job Responsibilities: 
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership in contract management.
  • Develop and implement contract management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure that contracts align with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Lead negotiations for complex contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, and high value contracts.
  • Review and approve contract terms and conditions.
  • Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and internal policies.
  • Reinforce the performance culture and actively manage department performance to meet or exceed all performance objectives
  • Develop team members to ensure business sustainability
  • Encourage innovation and drive change management initiatives
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting contracts.
  • Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential contract-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in contract practices.
  • Oversee the administration of all contracts, including performance monitoring, compliance, and dispute resolution.
  • Manage contract modifications, extensions, and terminations.
  • Ensure contract files and documentation are maintained accurately and in compliance with record-keeping standards.
  • Analyze and report on contract performance and compliance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving contract processes.
  • Conduct Business Performance Review Meetings at a frequency based on the criticality of the Contract
Job Requirements 
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, law, engineering).
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and contract management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Experience in contract management software/tools is a plus.
  • 5-10 years or more of experience in contract management or a related field, depending on the complexity and scope of the organization's contracts and projects.
Salary: AED 30000 - 33000 (all in)
