Job Responsibilities: - Coordinate daily workshop and onboard jobs for marine engine maintenance and repair activities.
- Track job progress and follow up to ensure timely completion.
- Arrange permits, access, and logistics for onboard and dockside work.
- Support engineers and technicians with technical documentation, manuals, and drawings.
- Maintain engine service records, checklists, and maintenance history files.
- Coordinate spare parts requests with stores and procurement.
- Maintain inventory lists for engine consumables and critical spares.
- Prepare job cards, service reports, timesheets, and completion reports.
- Update ERP or maintenance systems with job status and cost information.
- Maintain proper filing of certificates, test reports, and client documentation.
- Support preparation of quotations and job estimates when required.
- Coordinate with clients, vessel crew, workshop teams, and subcontractors.
- Schedule vendor attendance and third-party services.
- Attend planning meetings and provide progress updates.
- Ensure all activities comply with company HSE procedures and shipyard regulations.
- Follow permit-to-work systems and safety requirements.
- Support business development activities and attend client meetings when required.
- Coordinate meeting , appointments and sales visits.
- Ensure timely invoicing and follow up on payment status with finance and clients.
- Follow up with clients on submitted quotations to secure orders.
- Convert service inquiries into confirmed jobs and maintain sales pipeline tracking.
Job Requirements - Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Marine Engineering, or related technical field.
- 2–4 years of experience in shipyard or marine engine workshop.
- Basic knowledge of marine diesel engines such as CAT, Cummins, MAN, MTU, or similar brands.
- Basic understanding of marine engine systems and components.
- Familiarity with engine overhaul and maintenance processes.
- Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and parts lists.
- Knowledge of spare parts identification and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/maintenance management systems.
- Age: 28 years and above.
Salary AED 4000-5500 + Standard benefits as per UAE law
