Key Responsibilities:-
Customer Support: Provide timely and effective responses to customer inquiries regarding shipment status, documentation, and logistics services.
- Shipment Coordination: Coordinate with operations, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure smooth shipment processing and resolve issues.
- Tracking & Updates: Proactively track shipments and provide regular updates to customers on shipment status, delays, or changes.
- Documentation: Prepare and process shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices, customs forms) accurately and efficiently.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints or issues related to shipments, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and identify opportunities to upsell or offer additional services.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on customer interactions, shipment statuses, and feedback for management review.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in customer service within the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages like Arabic are a plus).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with logistics software (e.g., TMS, freight forwarding systems).
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Certification in logistics or customer service (e.g., FIATA, CLCM) is an advantage.
Salary AED 5000- 6000 + standard benefits as per UAE law
