Position: Assistant Manager – Logistics

Job Type: Full time - Manage and coordinate end-to-end logistics operations, including marine transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Ensure the timely and safe delivery of goods, equipment, and personnel to marine terminals and offshore sites.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE and international regulatory requirements, including customs, health & safety, and maritime transport regulations. Oversee accurate preparation and maintenance of all shipping, TDRA-related, and customs documentation.
- Act as a point of contact for TDRA-related regulatory logistics.
- Ensure telecommunications and digital government equipment entering or exiting the country comply with TDRA guidelines and licensing requirements. Maintain strong working relationships with TDRA officials and stay updated on relevant regulatory changes.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, implement effective stock management strategies, and proactively mitigate risks related to transport delays, customs issues, or supply chain disruptions.
- Lead a team of logistics staff, offering direction, coaching, and performance management to maintain operational excellence and high service standards.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage third-party logistics providers. Support negotiation and administration of vendor contracts, and track service delivery KPIs to ensure performance aligns with business expectations.
- Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement through logistics process reengineering, automation, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Implement best practices in marine logistics to enhance service efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain precise records of logistics operations, including shipment tracking and compliance documentation.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, clients, external partners, and regulatory authorities including TDRA to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications & Skills Education: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in logistics or supply chain operations, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Prior experience in coordinating with UAE regulatory bodies such as TDRA is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of marine logistics, international shipping protocols, UAE customs procedures, TDRA regulatory compliance, and inventory management.
- Proficient in logistics and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), Microsoft Office Suite, and digital documentation platforms.
- trong communication, leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Salary AED 10000-12000 (all in) + Benefits as per UAE law
