Job Overview

Our client, a leading renewable energy company based in Dubai, is seeking a talented and experienced Solar Design Engineer to join their team. As a Solar Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing solar energy systems for various projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop solar energy systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in the UAE
- Conduct site surveys and analyze data to determine the feasibility and potential of solar energy systems
- Create detailed design plans and specifications for solar energy systems, including layout, sizing, and equipment selection
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure timely and successful project completion
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in solar technology to incorporate into design plans
- Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams in developing proposals and presentations for potential clients
- Conduct quality control checks and inspections on installed solar systems to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve any design or installation issues that may arise during the project lifecycle
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all design plans, calculations, and project data

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar design and engineering
- Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, components, and design principles
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
- Experience with project management and working in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAE is preferred
