Position: Assistant HR Manager (Marine / Ship repair )

Job Responsibilities: 

• We are looking for a candidate with a strong expertise in human resources for an engineering marine services provider. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of HR functions, policies, and manpower strategic planning.
• To be able to develop objectives and actions to improve employee satisfaction, thereby enhancing and reducing employee retention.
•  To develop and prepare various employee analyses for the management
• To take the responsibility to prepare the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) related to manpower planning including forecasting new manpower which include (salaries & recruitment. etc).
• Excellent understanding of the workforce needs and familiarity with recruitment of technical manpower.
• Proficiency in talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies tailored to the unique demands of the company
• Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly those related to the maritime industry, to ensure compliance in all HR practices
• Excellent knowledge in designing and managing compensation packages, benefits, and reward systems that are competitive and aligned with industry standards
• Ability to align HR strategies with the company’s overall business goals, particularly in workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development
• Experience in managing organizational change, particularly in the context of business restructuring, technological upgrades, or shifts in market demand
• Ability to analyze HR data to inform decision-making, particularly regarding workforce planning, turnover, and employee engagement

Job Requirements 

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels, from blue-collar workers to senior management
• MUST be from marine and ship repair industry
• Min 5-7 years of exp 
• MUST have leadership skills
