Position: Senior Planner 
Job Location: Dubai

Job Responsibilities: 

• Develop seasonal merchandise plans, sales forecasts, and OTB (Open-to-Buy) by department/category/store
• Partner with Buying, Allocation, and Marketing to align assortment plans with financial targets
• Analyze sell-through, markdowns, and stock levels; recommend actions to maximize profitability
• Lead pre-season planning and in-season reforecasting
• Manage inventory flow, intake, and exit strategies to optimize working capital
• Prepare weekly/monthly business reviews and present to senior leadership
• Mentor junior planners/allocators

Requirements:

• 5-7+ years in Merchandise Planning, preferably in fashion/apparel retail
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel; experience with planning tools (SAP, Oracle, JDA, etc.)
• Deep understanding of retail KPIs: sell-through, WOS, GMROI, markdown optimization
• Commercial mindset with ability to translate data into actionable strategies
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Fashion Merchandising or related
