Job Requirements: 
  • Experience: minimum 5 years in cable company with hands on experience on production planning and scheduling . Hands on experience on all machines related to MV and HV 
  • ERP knowledge : sap 4 Hana . His skills will be tested during interview 
  • Advanced excel skills 
  • KPI monitoring : plan versus actual a , bottle neck management , OTIF etc. 
  • Education: Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and inventory control within a company’s global operations. Exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) especially Master Planning of Resources and detailed scheduling
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Efficiently plan and utilize the capacity of company's s multi-site plants to optimize Production Output and Machine utilization to produce the required quantity of conforming product in line with the sales demand. Identify potential opportunities for productivity improvement
  •  Provide Management with accurate and timely Planning reports, as required
    Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in initiatives for innovation and continuous improvement in pursuit of greater productivity
  •  Provide support to other Manufacturing and related areas to enable improvement in the existing systems, further development of the manufacturing facilities and of its Information System
  • Identify potential orders for outsourcing to enable optimum utilization of machine capacity
  • Coordinate with Purchase department for procurement of raw material and confirm availability to commit to customer enquiries for optimum machine utilization and delivery commitment
    Planning
  • Create planned orders in APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) to optimize production capacity and machine utilization, review and provide an acknowledgement date to the customer orders and monitor their progress across multi-site plants of the company
  • Respond to the customer delivery enquiries/tenders through the Commercial function to facilitate greater manufacturing efficiencies and adhere to the agreed delivery schedule by the customer
  •  Advise delivery lead times for all product groups to Commercial based on Capacity Plan and forward load to enable better business prospects
  • Prepare and circulate weekly Production Forecast with site Prodution Planners to achieve weekly planned capacity of the plant and adhere to the delivery schedule  
  • Co-ordinate with the Site Planners to ensure all planned orders are delivered on time and to support the site planners with assistance from other sites to best utilize the manufacturing capacity
  • Plan and schedule the maintenance of Plant and machinery, as advised by Engineering Supervisors to optimize the output and efficiency
