Position: Planning Manager- Electrical
Our client, a leading EPC company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent benefits and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for electrical projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion
- Coordinate with project managers and other team members to create project schedules and manage resources effectively
- Monitor project progress and identify any potential risks or delays, taking appropriate action to keep projects on track
- Utilize project management software and tools to track project milestones and deliverables
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded
- Provide guidance and support to project teams, ensuring all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify any issues that may arise
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on project status, budget, and other key metrics
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve planning processes and procedures
- Mentor and train junior planners and project team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning and management, preferably in the electrical industry
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and techniques
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- PMP certification is a plus
