We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales professional with expertise in INCOTERMS to join our client’s team, specializing in piping products in Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with existing customers, and driving sales growth through effective communication and negotiation. This is a critical role that requires strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of INCOTERMS and their application in the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email marketing, and networking.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to increase sales and customer loyalty.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research and analysis.
2. INCOTERMS Expertise:
- Provide expert advice on INCOTERMS to customers, including explanations of terms, conditions, and obligations.
- Ensure that all sales transactions are conducted in accordance with INCOTERMS, including EXW, FCA, FAS, FOB, CFR, CIF, CPT, CIP, DAT, DAP, and DDP.
- Collaborate with logistics and shipping teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of products.
3. Product Knowledge:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of oil and gas products, including pipes, fittings, flanges, and valves.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and competitor activity.
4. Quoting and Order Processing:
- Prepare and submit quotes to customers, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Process orders, manage inventory, and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery.
5. Sales Performance Management:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Track and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase sales.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with external sales teams, customer service, and operations to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product management.
Requirements:
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or sales.
2. Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
3. INCOTERMS Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of INCOTERMS, including terms, conditions, and obligations.
- Experience in applying INCOTERMS in a sales or logistics environment.
4. Skills:
- Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent phone and email etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
