FACILITY STEWARDING MANAGER


Position:  FACILITY STEWARDING MANAGER

Purpose of the role:
 
The Facility Stewarding Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all cleaning and stewarding operations across the Central Production Unit located in Dubai. This includes maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation across production, preparation, storage, dispatch areas, bags cleaning, and the dry store. The role involves direct supervision of cleaning staff, management of cleaning schedules and supplies, and ensuring alignment with production workflows and hygiene compliance in coordination with the QHSE team.

Operations Management
 
Supervise daily cleaning across kitchen, cold rooms, dispatch zones, staff areas, washrooms, bags cleaning, and the Dry Store Warehouse  
Lead and manage 2 Cleaning Supervisors and a team of 30+ cleaning staff.
Coordinate cleaning routines with production schedules to ensure smooth operations.

Team Leadership & Training

 Prepare duty rosters, assign tasks, and manage shift coverage.
Train staff on cleaning protocols, equipment use, and safety practices.
Always ensure proper PPE usage and hygiene compliance.
Inventory & Equipment Control
 
Monitor cleaning materials, tools, and machines (dishwashers, scrubbers, etc.).
Maintain stock levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
Report malfunctions or maintenance needs to the engineering or maintenance department.

Coordination with QHSE & Production
 
Collaborate with QHSE Officers to support audits and hygiene inspections.
Align cleaning operations with production flow and regulatory standards.
Ensure implementation of corrective actions during hygiene audits.

Professional Requirements:
·       High School/Equivalent
·       5+ years of experience in stewarding or facility cleaning management, preferably in a food production or central kitchen setup
·       Strong Knowledge and commitment to a safe work environment F&B Operation, HACCP and Dubai Municipality Standards
·       Strong leadership, scheduling, and coordination skills
·       Familiarity with HACCP, ISO standards, and hygiene regulations
·       Experience using commercial cleaning machines and chemical safety protocols
·       Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities

Salary: AED 10,000.00 /month
