Job Overview 

Our client, a leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hydrology and Drainage Engineer to join their team. As a Hydrology and Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective drainage systems and managing water resources for various projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses to determine the impact of water on infrastructure and develop appropriate drainage solutions
- Design and implement drainage systems for various projects, including roads, buildings, and infrastructure
- Utilize software and tools to model and simulate water flow and drainage systems
- Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather data and assess potential risks and challenges
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for drainage systems
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the integration of drainage systems with overall project designs
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of drainage systems and make necessary adjustments and improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in hydrology and drainage engineering to continuously improve processes and techniques
- Adhere to all safety regulations and standards in the design and implementation of drainage systems.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hydrology and drainage engineering
- Strong knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic principles, as well as drainage system design and construction
- Experience with software such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, and AutoCAD
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
