Job Summary:
 
We are seeking an experienced HSE Inspector/Engineer to join our client’s team in a Landscaping Contracting Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all landscaping projects are completed in a safe, healthy, and environmentally sustainable manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
1. Conduct Site Inspections:
    - Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential health, safety, and environmental hazards.
    - Evaluate the effectiveness of existing safety procedures and recommend improvements.
2. Develop and Implement HSE Plans:
    - Develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans for landscaping projects, including risk assessments, method statements, and emergency response plans.
    - Ensure that all HSE plans are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
3. Monitor and Report HSE Performance:
    - Monitor and report on HSE performance, including incident rates, near misses, and environmental metrics.
    - Analyze HSE data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
4. Provide HSE Training and Guidance:
    - Provide HSE training and guidance to employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
    - Ensure that all personnel are aware of their HSE responsibilities and obligations.
5. Investigate Incidents and Accidents:
    - Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
    - Ensure that all incidents and accidents are reported and documented in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
6. Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders:
    - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, site managers, and designers.
    - Ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into all aspects of project planning and execution.
7. Communicate with External Stakeholders:
    - Communicate with external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
    - Ensure that all external stakeholders are aware of company HSE policies and procedures.
 
Requirements:
 
1. Education:
    - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as occupational health and safety, environmental science, or engineering.
2. Experience:
    - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in a landscaping contracting company.
3. Skills:
    - Excellent analytical and communication skills.
    - Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    - Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
    - Strong knowledge of HSE laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Salary AED 7000-10000 + Standard benefits as per UAE law
