Job Overview : Lead and integrate logistics, procurement, and contract management functions to ensure efficient supply chain operations, cost optimization, and risk mitigation. Oversees end-to-end material flow (inbound and outbound), strategic sourcing of non-metal raw materials, and contract lifecycle management to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations and organizational objectives.

Job Responsibilities: 
  • Manage logistics and distribution operations for finished goods and raw materials across all sites.
  • Plan and schedule transportation for internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Manage inter-site material movement and ensure seamless coordination across locations.
  • Liaise with logistics partners, transport companies, ports, customs, and regulatory authorities to resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure timely dispatch of goods to customers in coordination with central logistics.
  • Coordinate yard operations for efficient loading and unloading of materials
  • Manage clearance of import shipments and ensure timely delivery to warehouses.
  • Review import/export documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with freight agents, customs officials, and insurance providers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Investigate shipment damages and ensure proper claims handling.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
  • Lead procurement of non-metal raw materials, indirect materials, and engineering spares.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure cost efficiency and supply continuity.
  • Monitor market trends and prepare price analysis reports.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and supplier optimization strategies.
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials to meet manufacturing demands.
Job Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field 
  • Strong experience with SAP system Proven leadership and negotiation skills
  • Transportation & Shipping Coordination, Strategic thinking and problem-solving
  • Contract negotiation and legal awareness, Stakeholder management, Inventory Management, Strong communication
  • 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in procurement & logistics.
