Position OverviewAs a Sales Manager - Inbound Tourism, you will be responsible for sales growth by developing and managing inbound travel programs for international clients visiting the UAE. Your role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and corporate clients, and creating tailored packages to meet client needs. The position demands a strong understanding of the UAE tourism market and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales and Business Development :· Identify and develop relationships with international travel agents, tour operators, and corporate clients.
· Promote inbound tourism packages, including tours, activities, and accommodations, to global markets.
· Analyze market trends and client needs to design competitive and attractive packages.
· Negotiate contracts with partners, ensuring profitability while maintaining competitive pricing.
· Proactively pursue new leads and partnerships to expand the company’s inbound client base.
Client Relationship Management :· Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients and partners to ensure repeat business.
· Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to deliver seamless travel experiences.
· Address and resolve client concerns to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Strategic Planning and Reporting :· Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
· Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and adjust strategies as necessary.
· Prepare sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
Collaboration and Coordination :· Work closely with operations and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of packages and promotions.
· Collaborate with suppliers, hotels, and transport providers to enhance service offerings.
Skills and CompetenciesSales Expertise: Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of UAE tourism destinations, cultural attractions, and travel trends.
Networking: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with international partners.
Negotiation Skills: Skilled in contract negotiations and closing deals.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage).
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in inbound tourism sales or a similar role.
- Strong network within the tourism industry, especially in international markets.
- Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic, Russian, Chinese, or other languages is a plus.
