Position: Rigger Level 1 – Slinger/Signaller

Job Summary:
Entry-level rigging role responsible for basic slinging, signaling, and general lifting operations under supervision. Ensures safe handling of loads in compliance with site HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform slinging and signaling for crane operations
• Assist with preparation of lifting gear and load handling
• Inspect slings, shackles, and other lifting accessories before use
• Guide loads during lifting, lowering, and positioning
• Follow instructions from Rigger Level 2/3 and Lifting SupervisorComply with LOLER, BS 7121, and company HSE procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Rigger Level 1 certification from approved third party Knowledge of slinging, signaling, and general lifting operations
• Physically fit and able to work at heights/confined spaces
• Basic understanding of lifting hazards
