Position: Officer HSE

Roles and Responsibilities
 
·       Reduction of accidents through periodic monitoring of worker’s safety performance
·       Conducts Accident / Incident reporting and investigation and recommend actions that would prevent the recurrence of the same problem/s.
·       Establishment of procedures, work instructions or other significant HSE guidelines                    
·       Conduct safety training and monitoring of man-hours     
·       Ensuring appropriate controls are established against hazards and its associated risk present from client activities and are effectively implemented                                        
·       Monthly inspections of warehouse and accommodations                                                
·       On time accident / incident investigation and reporting (major - within 48 hours / minor - within 72 hours
·       Monthly/regular meeting with other departments/tenants on HSE issues           
·       Issue Permit to Work and conduct HSE Induction to contractors  
        

Qualifications, Experience & Skills (Competencies)
·       Bachelor’s degree
·       3-5 years of experience in a similar role
·       OSHA / NEBOSH certified
·       Knowledge in warehousing and transportation safety
·       Rigging and lifting activities
·       Management of hazardous materials
·       Good Analysis Skills
·       Valid UAE driving license
