Position:Food Cost & Inventory Controller

Key Areas of Responsibilities:
-       Control over the food and beverage costs.
-       Limit the wastage through control over ordering and production process.
-       Perform menu engineering.
-       Maintain firm control over stock receipt and issue processes.
-       Ensure that scales are correct up to the standard quality in the receiving section.
-       Communicate and help in resolving any discrepancies regarding the invoice or stock with the Procurement department.
-       Ensure the standard recipe is being followed by Central Kitchen and Outlets.
-       Maintain and validate the yield rates in the system through regular yield testing.
-       Ensure inventory is properly accounted for in the system.
-       Coordinate the stock counts and analyze results highlighting the discrepancies in opening, transfers, consumed and closing stocks.
-       Investigate the cause of variance and implement processes to eliminate them.
-       Perform outlet audits as per the agreed upon plans with the Finance team.
-       Preparation and validation monthly cost of goods sold for all the divisions.
-       Preparation of ad hoc reports for different departments.
-       Maintain master data for raw material/menu item in the system.
-       Maintain all menu items with the recipes in the system.
-       Maintain inventory system.
-       Coordinate with IT team for the system development as per the requirement.
-       Assisting in general financial management and analysis.
-       Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements 
·       Qualified Accountant/Cost Accountant from a recognized institution with at least 5 years of experience,
·       Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cost Control role within the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry in GCC.
·       High level of computer literacy required; experience with various accounting packages and proficiency in MS Excel at and intermediate to advanced level. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
·       Proficiency in English is essential, while spoken Hindi considered an added advantage.
