Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Overseeing the financial health of construction projects, including budgeting, expense tracking, and cost control.
Costing and Reporting:
Accurately costing jobs, preparing financial reports, and providing insights into project performance.
Compliance:
Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and legal requirements specific to the construction industry and the region.
Billing and Invoicing:
Managing the billing process for construction work and ensuring timely invoicing.
Communication:
Effectively communicating financial information to project managers, stakeholders, and other relevant parties, potentially in Arabic and English.
Potential Skills and Experience:
Accounting Degree or Certification: A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, and potentially a professional accounting certification
Construction Accounting Experience: Prior experience working as an accountant within the construction industry.
Financial Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software and financial reporting tools.
Budgeting and Forecasting Skills: Ability to create and manage budgets, as well as forecast future financial performance.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and resolve financial issues and analyze financial data.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Fluency in Arabic: Essential for effective communication with local stakeholder
